If you close your eyes, and just listen to the music, you would probably agree that Buddy Holly Lives! The Kingston trio played to a sell out crowd last Friday night at the Municipal Centre Theatre and no one left disappointed with the performance. The band played 2 full sets while telling the story of Buddy Holly and the Crickets in between songs. For someone who did not know the music's history it was an education and the band played without fault while the audience lapped it all up. The band itself has been together for 10 years playing the music of their favourite artist. Their encore brought many of the hits once more to the forefront in a medley which brought the people to their feet for the second time that evening. It was truly worth attending.
